- We encourage you to visit the Writing Center early in your planning process and then schedule appointments to work through each stage of your project as needed. We offer one-on-one collaborative assistance so that you can get personal input and guidance as you proceed.
- Are you just getting started on an assignment and want help brainstorming, or are you ready to start building an argument and need help with organization? Maybe you have a paper written and just want help with proofreading and documentation? Our University Writing Center can assist you with the specific writing tasks that you may encounter here at Appstate.

- Work closely with a consultant to identify areas for improvement and learn about adapting your writing process to a timed exam.
- Complete practice tests and review responses with consultants in one-on-one sessions tailored to your needs.
- Write practice essays using prompts and then work with a consultant to review the essay.
